INOR Process AB was born in Sweden in the 1939 as a sales company focusing on temperature products and associated assemblies. Not satisfied with what was available on the market at that time, its founder Alfred Brakl decided to develop his own temperature transmitter in the 1960s.

From this idea derived a milestone for temperature transmitters: in 1974, INOR introduced in the market the first probe-head-mounted temperature transmitter. Since then, this design has become an standard and has associated the name of INOR with innovation.

Today, products and services of INOR are available in more than 100 countries worldwide.

This innovation impressed INOR's entrepreneurial character and exigeance of quality, reflected in temperature transmitters ATEX for explosive atmospheres, with SIL2 safety certification or with Profibus or HART communication protocols.
